NVYC Video Contest

What is it?

The NVYC Video Contest 2023 is an exciting opportunity for teenagers from around the country to showcase their talents and win big at the 40th Annual National Youth Conference in Santa Clara, CA! The contest rules are simple: contestants must submit a short video encouraging teens to register for this year’s Youth Conference by showcasing their unique physical talents, video editing skills, or imaginative creativity. Each video will be uploaded and available for the public to vote on their favorite. The competition is sure to be fierce, so it’s important for contestants to put their best foot forward and create a video that truly stands out. Winners will be based off of public voting and a panel of judges, so share your video to family, friends, and everyone else to bring your video to the top.

Rules and Specifics

Each Contestant must submit a video less than one-minute long encouraging others to attend the 40th Annual National Youth Conference in Santa Clara, CA, on June 19th-22nd, 2023. At some point in the video, contestants must either verbally say, edit overlay text, or have written on screen the name of the conference, location, and date. Contestants are not allowed to use obscene, cursing, or euphemistic language or gestures in the video. Songs, soundtracks, and other forms of music in the videos should not contain rock, rap, or jazz tones and should not be associated with worldly environments or settings. Upon submission, each video will be reviewed before being posted onto the voting website. Contestants may submit more than one video into the contest. Youth leaders and group sponsors may enter the contest. If a youth leader is selected as a winner, they will select one teen from their group to award the prize. All videos must be submitted by Monday, June 5th, and Winners will be selected on Friday, June 9th, at 5pm PDT.

Beyond these requirements, contestants can have free creativity over the content and style of their videos. Videos can be made about the crazy games, intense activities, hilarious skits, amazing singing, great preaching, impeccable impersonations, incredible video editing, or anything else having to do with Youth Conference! So make your short video and submit it today!
